About the Lab
The Liu Laboratory is dedicated to understanding the fundamental mechanisms governing cochlear hair cell development, function and regeneration. Our research integrates in vivo genetics, epigenetics, and multi-omics approaches to uncover how sensory cells are specified, maintained, and regenerated. Ultimately, we aim to translate these findings into therapeutic strategies for hearing loss.
